ePathScreen, LLC is a medical devices development company that is developing patented technology for intelligent, cell recognition software used in cancer screening and diagnosis. Relying on proprietary algorithms, the software holds promise of a true paradigm shift replacing human subjectivity with AI technological objectivity, Machine-Learning, including improved accuracy and speed of delivery.
The software won the prestigious University Startup World Cup as the best in category as well as overall world winner, held in Denmark. The company is currently preparing for clinical trials with third-party validation preparatory to FDA approval, after which the software is expected to be taken to market.

L.B. Dahle, Founder, Chairman and CEO
After launching a company while in graduate school, he sold his stake and founded two more before transitioning to insurance. Once there he served as President of two divisions — first for PFSI, a $4 Billion insurance group (ultimately acquired by CONSECO) and then States General. He is a former member of International Insurance Council in Washington DC. His insurance practice evolved into Advanced Planning with high net worth clients.
He then added consulting with businesses in 16 different industries, ultimately founding his own consulting firm. This practice evolved into L.B. serving as interim or permanent CEO for different clients' companies. Since 2017 he has been affiliated with ePathScreen. He has a passion for health and fitness so after losing several family members and close friends to cancer he has channeled that passion into earlier diagnosis of this disease. Graduated pre-med and international business; attended graduate school in management, marketing and finance.
J. Ryan Stanfield, P.E., Ph.D. – President and Chief Operating Officer
Ryan Stanfield currently serves as President and Chief Operating Officer of ePathScreen. He has served the past year as Chief Science and Regulatory Officer. With a deep background in active electro-mechanical medical device development, Mr. Stanfield uses his knowledge to oversee the operational, technical and regulatory aspects of the company.
Over the past 25 years Ryan has been a part of seven start-ups in high-end recreational equipment, composite material processing, and medical device development. Ryan is well-versed in M&A, both as acquirer and acquiree. He has taken over 40 products from concept to market launch. His connection to Oklahoma began in 2012 when he relocated here to start VADovations, Inc. He earned a PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Wayne Poll, M.D. - Medical Advisor and Clinical Affairs
Wayne Poll MD is a board-certified Urologist and Laparoscopic cancer surgeon, with particular expertise in prostate, kidney, and bladder cancer. He has served as Chief of Staff and on the Board of OhioHealth, a 10-hospital system in Ohio, as well as their Director of Innovation.
He has been CEO of two VC-backed medical device companies, one of which he was the Founder, both of which were sold to other parties. He has invented and commercialized several medical devices and is listed as inventor on over 19 patents. He currently consults for several US and EU MedTech companies.
Rett Ferrell Jr., MBA, JD - Secretary, Treasurer and General Counsel
Mr. Ferrell is an attorney with over 40 years experience in civil and corporate law and business transactions in two states. Has expertise in state, federal and constitutional laws and has litigated all three.
His practice includes clients in energy, insurance, construction and healthcare. Mr. Ferrell has served as secretary, treasurer, general counsel and board member for multiple organizations. Education includes chemistry, physics, aviation, finance and business law.
Boyd Shook, MD - Medical Advisor
Dr. Boyd Shook is a practicing physician in Oklahoma and a native Oklahoman. His specialty is Internal Medicine although he practiced Hematology and Oncology for 25 years. He has worked as a medical director for the Central Oklahoma Medical Group and as Chief of Ambulatory Care at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center
Prior to his medical career, Dr. Shook served in the US Navy as an electronics technician, 1951-1953. Marcus Boyd Shook, MD, MACP, MBA received his medical degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington DC in 1959. Once graduated from medical school, he moved to Oklahoma to perform his internship and residency in internal medicine, he continued his residency at the Ancker Hospital St. Paul in Minnesota as chief resident.
Dr. Shook moved back to Oklahoma and practiced in various hospitals in positions ranging from staff physician to medical director. In 1995, Dr. Shook earned his MBA from Oklahoma City University. He was elected as President of the American Society of Internal Medicine and was involved in developing a merger with the American College of Physicians. Already a Fellow in the American College of Physicians, in 2004 he was awarded the title Master ACP. Dr. Shook retired from private practice with OU Medicine in Oklahoma City.
With the help of many good people, Dr. Shook established Manos Juntas, a free clinic in south Oklahoma City.. Since the inception of this clinic in 1995, over 25,000 patients have been treated.
James Bost, Ph.D. - Business Development
James has over 30 years proven experience in recruiting, marketing research, business development and relationship building. A pancreatic cancer survivor, he has served as Professor of Marketing at Creighton University as well as an executive partner with Giant Partners.
His career is multi-disciplinary and includes literally hundreds of personal contacts in education, business, fundraising and all areas of healthcare — most of whom he knows on a first-name basis.
Linda Durbin - Advisor, Biomedical Marketing & Sales
The consummate entrepreneur, Mrs. Durbin began her career after attending Oklahoma University by taking over management of a surgical instrument company over 30 years ago. She then founded EXAKT Technologies, Inc. to import and market German manufactured laboratory equipment to both research and also clinical facilities. products expanded into electronics, carbon nano materials, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and composites. Under Linda's guidance, EXAKT ultimately achieved over 1,000 customers. Her team created a unique shipping design, which she then launched into an entire packaging company, EXCEED, Inc., selling a UN certified packaging line for transporting biohazardous materials.
In 2010 Mrs. Durbin was awarded the first Distinguished Woman Entrepreneur Award for a Growth Business by Riata Center at the Oklahoma State University School of Entrepreneurship. In 2018 EXAKT Technologies, Inc. was sold. Linda then retired in March, 2019, to spend time with family, travel and consult to business start-ups.
John Matheson - Advisor, Management
John has over 20 years of executive management experience in the international energy, manufacturing and construction industries serving as the CEO of several major companies from publicly traded NYSE companies, to private-equity backed ventures.
Prior to his business career, John was with The Williams Companies, an international energy company, where he was responsible for mergers, acquisitions and securities law matters. Formerly, he was a partner with a major regional law firm and was a Certified Public Accountant with Price Waterhouse.
John is a graduate of Harvard Business School and holds a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center as well as a degree with Highest Honors (summa cum laude) from the University of Oklahoma Price College of Business. In 2009, John was named an Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year and served as a judge for the 2010 program year. He was also named a Hall of Fame member of Ernst & Young for his executive leadership. John has served on a number of business Boards of Directors and has served on several non-profit Boards, including as a current board member of Oklahoma Family Legal Advocates, serving the needs of at-risk children. John also enjoys his involvement with YPO, the OU Price College of Business Alumni Association and his appointment as a Nominating Delegate to the Harvard Club of New York City.
Kyle Moon - Legal Advisor
Kyle graduated in Psychology and after a brief stint brokering foreign currency he graduated Law School from the University of Kentucky. After law-school, Kyle worked for two years with Chesapeake Energy before joining Raptor Petroleum as In-House Counsel.
In addition to the practice of corporate law within the Raptor Petroleum umbrella of companies, he practices law with his own law firm KJM Law, PLLC, wherein he advises small businesses, drafts contracts, handles negotiations, mergers and acquisitions as well as estate plans. Kyle and his wife Aubrey have three children.
